Job Responsibilities – Advanced sheet metal work & bodywork on passenger cars at Werksta Märsta
In the role of sheet metal worker at Werksta Märsta, you will be responsible for independently performing qualified repairs and alignments on damaged bodies. You will work methodically according to manufacturer instructions and insurance company guidelines to ensure safe and sustainable results. Your main tasks include:
- Repairing and replacing body parts as well as performing advanced sheet metal work on modern cars
- Assembling and disassembling vehicle parts during damage repairs
- Using modern equipment and measuring tools to ensure the highest quality
- Performing welding, gluing, riveting, and simpler plastic repairs as needed
- Documenting work accurately in our digital systems
- Collaborating closely with the rest of the workshop team, damage assessors, and painters
- Contributing to a safe, orderly, and pleasant working environment at Werksta Märsta
Your Profile – Experienced sheet metal worker with a focus on responsibility and quality
We are looking for someone with education in automotive technology/sheet metal work or extensive experience in bodywork. Your ability to combine precision with collaboration makes you an important team player in our workshop. To succeed in this role, we hope you have:
- Education in bodywork/sheet metal work, or equivalent work experience
- Documented experience in automotive sheet metal work and repair of modern vehicles
- Comfortable working with the latest technology in a repair shop
- Driver's license B and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Good teamwork skills and a desire to develop together with the team
